What is Eat Purely?
Eat Purely is a convenient, nutritious meal and food essentials delivery service that has been helping Chicago eat well since 2016. Based here in the heart of Chicago, we create meals from scratch using intentionally sourced ingredients. Whether looking for a nutrient-dense meal or a comforting pasta dish, you can choose from a variety of delicious options that are ready to heat and eat.
We make it easy to eat well by creating dishes the whole family will love – entrees, sides and desserts, all with a great customer experience. And, we have options for everyone, no matter your dietary needs.
In addition to heat-and-eat meals, you can add a variety of your other favorite food and beverage items to your order in our Eat Purely Market.
We make meal planning simple. Order ahead, and you’re set for the week. Our meals are sealed with tamper-evident packaging to maintain freshness and keep contaminants out, keeping them fresh for up to four days. Meals are premade and arrive chilled so all you have to do is heat, eat and enjoy.
What kind of products does Eat Purely sell?
Eat Purely sells heat-and-eat meals that are made fresh, from scratch, using intentionally-sourced ingredients. Whether looking for a nutrient-dense meal, comforting pasta dish or vegan entree, you can choose from a variety of delicious options that the whole family will love.
In our Chicago kitchen, our chefs craft delicious entrees (including kids meals), sides and desserts.
In our Eat Purely Market, you can add other food and beverage staples (like breakfast bars, snacks, sparkling water), to your order as well.
Each meal is sealed with tamper-evident packaging to maintain freshness and keep contaminants out. Meals are premade and arrive chilled so all you have to do is heat, eat and enjoy.
All Eat Purely meals and products are free of artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, preservatives and or hormones, and use intentionally-sourced ingredients (seasonally and locally when possible).

We cook meals from scratch daily. As a company local to Chicago since 2016, we make sure every customer receives the attention they deserve.
In addition, giving back is in our DNA. Since our inception, we’ve donated meals to people in need. Eat Purely donates extra meals to the Chicago Public Schools system to assist low-income students and families. We are constantly engaging with community leaders to learn how we can provide access to healthy meals to others in need.
As an environmentally-conscious company, we continually evolve our business practices to adapt new, sustainable methods.
How is your food made?
Our chefs create our meals using fresh, intentionally-sourced ingredients with a variety of flavors to meet all tastes and dietary needs. They are sealed with tamper-evident packaging to maintain freshness and keep contaminants out. Meals are premade and arrive chilled so all you have to do is heat, eat and enjoy. All food is cooked and packaged in a sterile environment. Lastly, we follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as well as Cook County and City of Chicago food safety standards.
Do your meals arrive warm?
Our meals are premade and arrive chilled to lock in flavor and freshness. All you have to do is heat, eat and enjoy.
How do you package your meals?
Our entrees are sealed in black a tray that is oven and microwave-friendly and has tamper-evident packaging to seal freshness in and keep contaminants out.
Is your packaging really heat safe?
Yes! While the tiny plastic sauce and side containers are not oven or microwave safe, the black tray is oven and microwave-friendly. Please make sure to follow our heating instructions to keep the trays in good conditions and our meals tasting great! If you place our tray in the oven, please do so in the center of the center rack. Placing it anywhere else may cause it to warp.
How long do your meals last?
Meals stay fresh four up to four days in the refrigerator. Our tamper-evident packaging helps to keep everything fresh and delicious. Meals containing fish should be eaten within one day for maximum freshness. We typically don’t recommend freezing meals unless otherwise stated.
How often do you change the menu?
We currently change the menu every week on Thursday morning. We would love your feedback on this. Please email email@example.com.
I have dietary restrictions, can you make modifications for me?
We do our best to create meals for a variety of dietary needs, but unfortunately, we cannot make modifications to our meals. Please look for the dietary “identifiers” on each meal to see if we have something that fits your lifestyle. We provide identifiers for gluten free (GF), vegan (V), vegetarian (VEG), nut free (NF), and dairy free (DF). We also list the nutrition and ingredients on the description page of every meal. If you have a concern, please reach out to customer support, we’d love to chat with you.
Where do you deliver?
Eat Purely currently delivers to the greater Chicago land area on weekdays (Mon-Fri). We require orders to be placed at least 72 hours before the requested delivery date. If you’d like us to expand to your area, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
When do you deliver?
Deliveries are made to the Western Suburbs on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10am - 2pm.
For Tuesday delivery, place your order by midnight on Sunday
For Friday delivery, place your order by midnight on Wednesday
How do I select a delivery time?
You'll be asked to choose a delivery date on the "Shopping Cart" page, before placing an order.
A customer service representative will contact once your order is placed to schedule an exact delivery time for your order.
Do you charge a delivery fee?
We charge a flat delivery fee of $10 per delivery.
Do I need to be present for my delivery?
Yes. We currently drop off your delivery at your door in non-insulated delivery bags. You’ll be notified when your delivery is dropped off at your door.
Will I be notified when my order is on its way?
Yes. You will receive a text message approximately 30 minutes before your delivery arrives and a text message after your order has been delivered.
How is my delivery dropped off?
We currently drop off your delivery at your door in non-insulated delivery bags. You’ll be notified when your delivery is on its way and when it is is dropped off at your door. We are currently practicing contact-free delivery designed with the safety of both you and the driver in mind.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, but the cancellation must be 2 days prior to your delivery date.
Can I change my order?
We will do our best to adjust orders, but please know we are limited in what changes we can make to an order once it has been placed. Please contact customer support at email@example.com to see what options we have for you!
Your drivers are awesome! How can I tip?
We are so happy you think so. On the check-out page, you can select your desired tip amount on the bottom left. 100% of your tip goes to your delivery driver. Our drivers will also accept cash tips. We cannot modify the tip after the order has been placed.
What precautions are you taking during this time of COVID-19?
Drivers are using hand sanitizer and wearing new disposable gloves between every delivery to ensure your safety. Your delivery will now be made in a contact-free fashion to further mitigate risk and go above and beyond any food safety requirements that have been issued by government agencies.
What is contact free delivery?
A contact-free delivery is designed with the safety of both customer and driver. Your driver will text you when they are on the way to make your delivery and will leave your order at your porch, with your doorman, or at your front door - whatever is most convenient for you! Your driver will text you to let you know your delivery has been made.
Is the payment secure?
We use a third party processor to keep your information safe and secure.
How do you contact customer success?

Do you only accept credit card payments?
We also accept Apple Pay. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards at this time.

How do I tip my delivery driver?
At the check-out page, you can select your desired tip amount. 100% of the tips goes towards your delivery driver. Our drivers will also accept cash tips. We cannot modify the tip after the order has been placed.
Do you sell gift cards?
We currently don't sell gift cards for customers in the Western Suburbs. If you have an Eat Purely gift card, we currently only accept them for our on-demand service.
Can I use an Eat Purley gift card?
Unfortunately, at this time Eat Purely's service in the Western Suburbs does not accept gift cards. Gift cards are only valid in our on-demand geography.

What precautions is Eat Purely taking in light of the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation?
As always, the safety of our customers, families, friends, and team is always our number one priority. We’re in the business of food, and fortunately, food standards and regulations across our entire supply chain - from our raw materials, to cooking, packaging, and delivery - are already an underpinning of how we operate everyday, as governed by the city, county, and state health departments. We continue to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for health and food safety. At the same time we’re doubling down on our efforts, giving extra attention to those practices and putting additional ones in place. Specifically, our drivers are using hand sanitizer and new gloves between each delivery to further ensure your safety. As of March 13, 2020, we have also moved to contact-free delivery. We continue to monitor CDC, Cook County and City of Chicago recommendations.
